Cherimo ("we") helps you privately remember details about someone you care about. Because you may store another person's personal information, we treat your data with extra care. This is a template and should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and name.
- Content you save: partner profile, likes/dislikes, food & health notes, anniversaries, gifts, conversation notes, and date logs.
- Usage data needed to operate the service.
How we use information
- To provide the memory and reminder features you request.
- To generate AI suggestions. Only the saved information you choose is sent to our AI provider. Health notes marked as not allowed for AI are never sent unless you explicitly enable it for a request.
- To send reminders by email and push notification.
AI processing
AI suggestions are generated using Anthropic's API. We do not use your content to train models. AI never asserts another person's true feelings; suggestions are possibilities only.
Your rights
- Export all of your data at any time from Settings.
- Delete your account and all associated data permanently.
Account & data deletion
You can delete your Cherimo account and all associated data at any time:
- In the app: Settings → Delete account.
- Or email support@cherimo.app to request deletion.
Data that is deleted: your account (email), partner profile, likes/dislikes, food & health notes, anniversaries, gifts, conversation notes, date logs, photos, and all other data linked to you. Deletion is processed promptly and removed from backups within 30 days. We do not retain your data afterward, except records we are legally required to keep (e.g., transaction records).
Responsible use
Cherimo is for caring, not monitoring. Please do not store overly sensitive information about someone without their consent.
